In these welding machines, the longitudinal wire feed is carried out from coils, and the transverse feed can be either from a coil or from an automatic magazine (pre-straightened and cut to size rods).
GSA-E machines are characterized by high productivity.
The maximum width of welded meshes is 3600 mm (other sizes are discussed), the diameters of welded wires are 2–4 mm, suitable for welding wire, including galvanized wire.
The distance between the longitudinal rods is 76.2 mm (and more) fixed, the distance between the transverse rods depends on the wire diameter and is 12.7 mm (and more), is controlled by a computer and can be variable. Other dimensions are agreed with the manufacturer.
GSA-L machines can be equipped with additional devices, such as a guillotine for cutting, an automatic device for winding the mesh into a roll, a trimmer for automatic cutting of the ends of cross rods.
